Best in Class Farmers
Bringing Farming To Life
Coming in Spring 2020
Applied mentorship - Farmer to Farmer
At The Farmschool we are bringing farming to life. And we want to mobilize other farmers to do the same!
We believe hosting farm visits for GCSE and A-Level students is the best way to connect with schools, young people and those not in the farming industry.
Hosting a school visit can be daunting. We want to share our knowledge and experience to give you the confidence to welcome schools to your farm.
Why Become a Best in Class Farmer?
bringing farming to life
Through applied mentorship, we will equip you to host curriculum focused visits for 15-18 year olds.
These more engaging and targeted visits are in demand by secondary school teachers across the UK.
Visits will benefit students, your farm and the industry by bringing farming to life for young people.
How does it work?
You come to us
Take part in hosting a GCSE or A-Level school visit at The Farmschool. Pick up top tips, tried and tested activities and curriculum targeted content from our Resident Farmers who are experienced educators.
We can come to you
Take what you learnt at
The Farmschool and host your own school visit for GCSE or A-Level students. We can come to your first visit to support and give you farmer to farmer advice.
Through our website link up with secondary schools and start hosting visits. We will also keep you up to speed with new material and curriculum updates.
